Dear Nicky:

Many thanks for your generosity in contributing the delicious baked goods for our community service night at Bradford School back in December. We heard many “oohs” and “aahs” from the folks (and their kids) who attended. “The almond toffee brittle was awesome,” said one child. (And one mother remarked that she wanted to hide the box of almond toffee brittle somewhere so she could eat the whole thing.) There were a lot of cheers for the rum cake and the banana-split cupcakes, too.

We hope you know that we promoted your goodies a couple of times throughout the evening. Of course, Mesiah Event Planners was highlighted and officially thanked in the January issue of our school’s monthly newsletter, which goes home to parents in the children’s backpacks.

Thanks again. We appreciate your involvement in our school event and your help in making the evening such a scrumptious one.

Sincerely,

Cassandra Bollinger – Corresponding Secretary

Bradford PTA

Thank you again for your annual appeal donation to the Montclair Public Library Foundation. This donation will be used to purchase an engraved brick. The brick will be placed in the spring once the ground warms up. When your brick has arrived I will call you to set up a time for you to select your location.

Your support helps the Montclair Public Library fulfill its mission of providing an environment which supports and stimulates self education, lifelong learning and information literacy. Dear Miss Nicky

Thank you so much for helping to make our Second Annual Cooked and Uncorked Food and Wine Festival such a huge success! It was a SOLD-OUT event. Some of the feedback we received was … “The best food and wine event / have ever been to”… ” / am definitely going to make a reservation at that restaurant”… “what an amazing cross-section of restaurants”… and “great, extensive selection of wines and spirits”. There was also one unanimous request, “/ hope you are going to continue this every year”.

The success of our event would not have been possible without your generosity and the generosity of another 38 restaurants, 15 wine distributors, and 12 fire departments; all willing to showcase one of their signature dishes or wines to the nearly 850 guests in attendance that evening. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as our guests.

We are proud of the enormous media coverage that we received that evening. We had reporters from FIOS I, News 12, the Star Ledger, and Tri-County Journal. We feel confident that this year’s coverage will help to make next year’s event even larger and more successful.

Again, thank you for being a part of a very special evening and we hope to see you again next year. Mark your calendar for January 28, 2013.

Sincerely,

Chief J. Michael Roberts

FMBA Co-Chairman

Dear Nicolette:

Thank you so much for your donation to Luna Stage. Our event in Llewellyn Park was a great success. due in large part to you! Your support means so much to the company. as it helps us to continue fulfilling our mission of producing dynamic and thought-provoking theatre work.

What a year it has been for Luna! As you know, we are in the midst of our big move to the Valley Arts District of Orange/West Orange, at a time when all non-profit organizations are feeling the effects of the economic climate. Yet we continue to move forward with great work ¬intensive play development, readings, script-in-hand performances, playwriting and improvisation workshops, partnerships with writers and musicians, and all this as we actively engage in reaching out to our new community.

The grand opening of our new space will be this October with the production of John Henry Redwood’s The Old Settler. Please check our website: www.lunastage.org for information on the production and for updates on all that is happening at Luna Stage. If you are not on our email list and would like to receive our quarterly newsletter, please sign up online.

Thanks again for your generous support -we look forward to seeing you at the theatre!

Dear Nicky,

Thank you so much for your generous gift to our auction and raffle at our Fourteenth Annual Awards Gala on February 12, 2011.

The event was a great success on many levels. We gave well¬deserved recognition to our ten honorees for their volunteer and humanitarian efforts on behalf of our community: Kathleen & Sylvester McClearn, Elisabeth Ginsburg, Reginald Hollinger, Ann Jennings, Nicole McGrath, Denise Roman, Margot Sage-EL, Melissa Walker and Michael Winchester.

We received overwhelming support of more than 500 individuals and businesses. The funds we raised support the many essential services we provide to Montclair, Glen Ridge and Nutley. These include local disaster assistance, transportation, health and safety classes, shopping for shut-ins, blood drives, Nutley Food Pantry and service to military families.

Again, on behalf of our Board of Directors and Gala Committee, thank you very much for your support of the Red Cross. We hope you will continue to support us at next year’s event!

Sincerely Yours,

Ofira Bondorowsky, Gala Chair
